This morning I awoke to find that I did not win the Knitty 2007 calendar contest.
Here's who did - I mean, these photos are nice and all, but I don't get it.

in other news i've been trying to make a baby sweater from knitty and it's killing me. piquant my ass - it should be called deathly.
Those knitty pictures suck.
in afact they make me want to kill myself and never ever wear knitted products.

Man, I tried to comment but my comment got swallowed by the internets. I said something like this ...
Don't feel bad, you forgot to read their submission guidelines:
kindly do not submit photos that feature males; kindly keep in mind that all models should be caucasian; if you are going to feature a canine, it should be totally froofy. As ever, photos featuring docks and/or lakeside settings are preferred.
That would have cleared everything up, no doubt.
